More of the cast revealed Day 9 Filming

Thursday night, the scenes of young Ally and her mother in the subway station were being filmed. It appears that the role of Ally's mother, Helen Craig, has been filled by Martha Plimpton. You might remember her from some late eighties and early nineties flicks as The Goonies, Parenthood and Running on Empty. Currently, she has been quite active on Broadway, garnering Tony Award nominations for her roles in the plays Pal Joey, Top Girls and The Coast of Utopia.

Caitlin Rund has been cast as young Ally.

Cast Spotlight Ruby Jerins

From the photo stills and videos taken from the Remember Me set on Friday, it looks like Ruby Jerins has been cast in the role of Caroline Roth, Tyler’s little sister.

Ruby has been involved in acting since 2001, when she played a flower girl in the short film, The Wedding, which won Best Short Film at the Molodist Film Festival in 2001.

In 2006, she appeared in an episode of Guiding Light and on SNL as the little girl dressed as Princess Amendola. She was also cast as Jill Marks for 5 episodes of As the World Turns, in the same year.

Ruby was cast in 12 episodes of the ABC drama Six Degrees as Eliza Morgan in 2007, and in 2008 appeared in an episode of CBS’s Law and Order.

Earlier this year, she was cast as Olivia Strobl in the HBO film Taking Chance, a drama based on real-life events. Fellow Remember Me cast mate Tate Ellington also appeared in this film. Prior to that she starred in the short film Zoe's Day (2006)as Zoe.

If you want to catch Ruby’s acting now, she is currently playing the role of Grace Peyton on the new Showtime series, Nurse Jackie.

Ruby is the daughter of artist Edgar Jerins and actress Alana Jerins. In June of 2007,Ruby was awarded a Recanati-Kaplan Excellence in the Arts Scholarship.
