Getting the Remember Me Cast / Director on Charlie Rose

How would you like to see Rob, Emilie, Pierce, Chris, Lena, Allen, Jenny, Will, Trevor and Nick in a serious, roundtable interview / discussion of the film with an interviewer who asks intelligent questions? It would be a wonderful opportunity to promote the film to a different type of audience that might not currently be familiar with it and help Remember Me be more successful.

Getting the Remember Me Cast / Director on Charlie Rose
by Twinkleimdb

As some of you know, the cast of Coulter's last film Hollywoodland made an appearance on the Charlie Rose show. I have a friend who has contacted the show to make the same suggestion for the cast of Remember Me.

She emailed the Charlie Rose show to request an interview with the Remember Me cast and director to discuss the movie. They actually acknowledged so we're wondering if it's a good thing to get the word out for other people to do the same? This would be a great interview for Rob, et al to do and Rose is familiar with Coulter so it seems like they might be really open to it happening. The caliber of guests he has is impressive so if we could do anything to help this happen I think it would be a very good thing.

If this something that you would be interested in seeing, please email the show at charlierose@pbs.org and let them know.

Here is an example of an email that was sent today by VA Girl.
I am a regular PBS listener and enjoy listening to you.

I am writing to ask whether you might consider inviting the cast of the movie, "Remember Me"- as well as the director and perhaps screenwriter- to be interviewed on your show.

"Remember Me" - opening March 12th, has a wonderful cast, some of my favorite actors, and a great director and scriptwriter (Rachel Getting Married.) The quality of the talent involved-acting, directing and screen writing- is the main draw. Another is it's the first non-Twilight movie for the "new-to-this-side-of-the-pond" actor, Robert Pattinson. His fans extend much beyond the young Twilight crowd, and is particular growing among the more serious movie-goers and literary crowd as he's quite intelligent, engaging, and very articulate in his interviews (he'd be thoughtful and entertaining). Thirdly, the subject matter of the movie will likely draw attention. This is an indie movie made by Summit, but I think, given the buzz, that it could build to be quite successful at the box office.

I do know that the cast of the Director's (Coulter) last film, Hollywoodland, made an appearance on your show, so thought you might be open to this idea. Might you consider this for your program?

What's your Reason for Being Excited to See Remember Me?

We are getting closer and closer to the opening of Remember Me!!

I am looking for your reasons to incorporate them into a countdown while we are waiting out the winter months.

Why are you excited to see this film? Is it a special scene that you really want to see? Facinated by Aidan's smile? Excited that Rob is playing just a normal guy? Can't wait to see performances by award winning actors Chris Cooper, Pierce Brosnan and Lena Olin? Want to know which dessert Ally orders at the restaurant? Any reason is a great one. Just please, be careful not to post spoilers!!

Please post them here and feel free to post more than one. Or you can tweet me your reason, if you want.

Dark Horizons lists Remember Me as a Notable Film for 2010.

Dark Horizons has listed Remember Me as one of the notable films for 2010.
by Garth Franklin

Cast: Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper, Lena Olin
Director: Allen Coulter

Summary: A rebellious young man in New York City has a strained relationship with his father ever since tragedy separated their family. A twist of fate bring him in contact with a young woman whose spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him.

We're still very much in the eye of the storm when it comes to Robert Pattinson. The scruffy, unassuming 23-year-old Brit didn't really ask for the media storm and fangirl craze surrounding him, but he has it anyway. The one good thing about it is that he can use it to push non-"Twilight" films of his that would otherwise go unnoticed at the box-office.
