IndieLondon Interview with Robert Pattinson

From the UK press conference for Remember Me:

by Rob Carnevale

ROBERT Pattinson talks about his new film, Remember Me, what appealed about the character of Tyler, the themes of the movie and working with Pierce Brosnan as his father.

He also talks about how he chooses projects outside of the Twilight movies and why brooding is a new term for him…

Q. What did you like about the script when you were approached?
Robert Pattinson: I’d read tons of scripts over the summer, after I did Twilight – I mean hundreds… and everything just seemed exactly the same. This one initially stood out in the way the dialogue was written – it just seemed much more naturalistic than most things. Tyler as a character – it seems that most movies which have a young male protagonist as the lead have to be either a virgin, or have to learn everything during the movie, or they always go through the trials of the movie and end up a different person and they’re completely fine afterwards. But Tyler starts off with a lot of baggage and a very full and developed character, and ends up being developed in a slightly different way, rather than: “Oh I’m fine now!” You just never see that in films very much, especially for young people’s parts.

IndieLondon Interview with Emilie de Ravin

From the UK press conference of Remember Me:

by Rob Carnevale

EMILIE de Ravin talks about the appeal of working on new Robert Pattinson drama Remember Me, working with Chris Cooper as her father and how much of an impact Lost has had on her career…

Q. This isn’t a conventional movie in a lot of ways. Was that part of the initial attraction for you?Emilie de Ravin: Yeah, definitely. It didn’t read to me, personally, like a script. But it also didn’t read technically like a script… in a very good way. It was more like somebody had written you a letter, or something that somebody had jotted down. It’s so honest and organic in that way.

Q. How was working with Chris Cooper as your father?
Emilie de Ravin: I was over the moon when I found out. I’ve been a fan of Chris Cooper for years. He’s a very intense person but very giving. It never felt as though he was reading the scenes; you felt like you were watching him reacting.

Emilie de Ravin Talks with MTV.uk

MTV speaks to Emilie De Ravin…

Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me co-star has raved about working with the hunk in the new film.

The romantic drama has just hit cinemas and sees the Twilight hunk in a relationship with a feisty girl played by Lost star Emilie De Ravin.

She told MTV News: “Rob’s great, he’s amazing in the film and we really sort of shared the same amount of enthusiasm and passion to really just make it as good as we could.

“I was very lucky to be working with someone that gives everything, whether it be fighting or kissing, everything just was sort of natural and not forced which was cool."

De Ravin also told us it was the scripts that attracted her to the film. She said: “It felt like you were reading more like a letter or a journal. It’s just an honest depiction of these characters and their lives.”

ScreenRush UK Red Carpet Interview

ScreenRush.co.uk interviews Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin on the red carpet at the UK premiere.

TNT Magazine talks with Emilie de Ravin

TNT Magazine chatted with Emilie de Ravin recently about Remember Me and Lost.

Remember Me star Emilie de Raven talks Robert Pattinson and Lost

The former Melbourne, now LA-based, TV and film star opens up to TNT.

Remember Me is a romantic drama set in New York. What’s your experience of dating in big lonely cities?

It is difficult. People just end up meeting in bars. No one’s actually walking around and interacting. Online dating and all these things … they’re so fake, I’m sure people aren’t really writing proper profiles. It’s all such a game instead of it just being an organic process.

So, to the most important question …What was it like to kiss your Remember Me co-star Robert Pattinson?

I’m so curious about what people want me to say! Do people want a description of his mouth?

Well, is he a good kisser? Girls want to know and you’ve been there …

Yeah, been there, done that, and ticked that one off! He’s a great guy and everything was just very comfortable.

Emilie de Ravin talks with The Independent.co.uk

Emilie de Ravin talks with Rosamund Witcher from The Independent.UK about fame, New York and home.

Emilie de Ravin -She's busy making up for Lost time

By Rosamund Witcher

With her new film, Emilie de Ravin has hit the jackpot. Not only does she get to cavort in steamy scenes with heartthrob du jour Robert Pattinson (OMG! RPattz!) in Remember Me, but she gets to bask in the heat of a talked-about movie that, without Pattinson's involvement, may have been another under-the-radar romantic drama.

Pattinson's first project since the unprecedented success of the Twilight films sees him as an angry rich kid – sans creepy vampire makeup – who falls in love with a ballsy young philosophy student, played by de Ravin. At 28 – five years Pattinson's senior – she is still girlish enough to pass for 21.

You'll most likely recognise the Australian actress de Ravin as the young mother Claire in Lost (currently in its explosive sixth series on Sky1), but her association with Pattinson has catapulted her into the celebrity weeklies.
