Filmmaker Spotlight Allen Coulter Part 2

Allen Coulter's first feature film was Hollywoodland (2006). The film explores the real-life mystery that surrounds the death of George Reeves (Ben Afflect), who was the original TV superman. George Reeves dies of a single gun shot wound which may or may not have been a suicide. In the movie, a private detective (Adrien Brody) searches for the truth exploring leads that are both dangerous and hard to connect. In exploring George's death and life, the detective finds connections to himself too.

Troy Rogers at UGO interviewed Allen about his approach to directing this film.
