Remember Me DVD Tops $10 Million in Sales


Remember Me DVD has sold 550,599 copies of the DVD for $10,035,122! Congratulations to all involved in Remember Me!

oh wow ! that's great news ! thanks for posting this Kat! We get newbies on my forum who never saw the film in theaters and are only just discovered it on DVD. They are now furious with themselves because they missed it. The reaaction is always the same :" I didn't know it was such a great film.. it's so amazing "...

I knew that once people saw this movie they would rant and rave and in due time people would decide they wanted a part of this movie and bought the DVD it's wonderful and goes to show that sometimes the critics don't know what they are talking about...I am thrilled for Will Fetter for writing such a story and the Directors for making this movie as bold and touching as they did for the cast for the wonderful performance and to Rob Pattinson who made Tyler as believeable as possible and he too got a lot of grief from the critics...now lets hope the Academy wakes up and smells the coffee.

$10M in DVD sales!! Great! I keep seeing newbies at IMDb too,Rum. Now I hope word of mouth takes off. A few of the important people in my life--to whom I recommended the film when it came out 6 months ago--still haven't seen it! I've given up with them.
Jen...*hugs*...the Academy...sigh...someone said they only start taking notice when the reviews are good. Oh for heaven's sake.
I'm pouring my heart out with my articles. To what end? Sometimes, even though I know they matter to supporters of the film and of my work--like both of you, THANK YOU--it is such a tiny drop in the ocean. What difference is it making in the grand scheme of things? -Caught me on a bad day...

@jessegirl, dont give up. Now is the right moment to remember the first line of Tyler's diary : "Whatever you will do in life will be insgnificant. But it is very important that you do it..." It's never been so true. Your voice, our voices will be heard, I think , sooner or later, and maybe in very unexpected ways.

Great news!!
In Brazil Remember Me DVD and Blu-Ray are available only for lease since august, but only in december they are going to be available for selling in all online big stores. I am not sure it is a good strategy of marketing but what else can we do? only wait, keep commenting and recommending this beautiful film and maintain fingers crossed. Remember Me is a cult movie. A film to remember forever.

Great news - thank you for posting this. I was wondering how the sales have been and it is very gratifying to know that the movie is being discovered by a lot of people who did not see it in the theaters. Good for Robert and everyone involved in the production! It has really been sad that this movie is not getting the respect it deserves from the hollywood rags and websites...meanwhile so many movies that grossed similar returns at the box office are absolutely fawned over by the press.."Eat, Pray, Love" is a movie that comes to mind - similar take at the box office but it appeared to have gotten so much more positive press. I hope the DVD sales continue and many more people see this great story.

dear jessegirl, please dont be sad. i know its heardbreaking that this movie didnt got what its deserve. please, be proud of what you and all the others have done. look at this site. it is months ago since the movie was in cinema, and still now the people watch your work. do you know one movie who impressed the audiance like this movie did? i dont! i can tell you, every time i read the word -remember- or hear it, i always see tyler in my mind. such a thing never happend to me before. so please, dont be sad. people must have the brave to be so sensitive, and most of them wouldnt feel such a deep emotion. they dare not. they live there flat live and wouldnt think about any meaning. you cant change them. but all the others are here,the sensitive, the brave, the thoughtful. they watch this site. they comment it, and what i can see is, they love it. with the best wishes. magdelena.
