Why Kat, why are they changing the date - I am so looking forward to seeing Rob as Tyler, I know he is going to KILL this role. Love Rob as Edward in Twilight, but this will be much more of a challenge for him. Any news on when we will see a trailer or Rob interviews for the film?

BTW - you are doing a great job, I keep directing people to your site, please keep up the good work. Shirleegirl

Patti,

I think it is time to get interactive. We know the power of the fandom, and there's no denying it, people WANT this movie to succeed.

Maybe you should put up a post where your viewers can generate some ideas on how the fans can help spread the word and get bums in seats whenever this film finally opens!

It might be a better opening release week-end for it, and we do want it to do the best at the BO that it can. I have heard absolutely nothing about the trailer though. I am still hoping for a NM interview that talks about this film a little too! I would guess the main interviews would start appearing about a month before the release date at the earliest.

My heart is breaking at the >100 days of waiting again. LOL!! Oh well. I am sure the reasons for moving it are sound. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall at that meeting.

Let's talk about what we can do so when it starts getting press the fans can really make an impact! I'm thinking about a plan for all the fans to go on Sunday (for the first or fifth time) so we have a kind of solidarity thing to share...

i agree with "kat", the new release date is better because there aren't a lot of movies coming out this particular week! On the other hand, in feb 12 there are a lot coming out, such as "THE WOLFMAN" or "VALENTINE'S DAY". So the competition would be harder!

Oh yeah - there was a lot lof talk about Rob and Taylor's movie coming out the same weekend and whose would do better (I vote for Remember Me), maybe that had something to do with it. Is Valentine's Day a Summit picture too?

Summit has not changed the date on their website yet, but it has been confirmed that the new release date is, in fact, March 12, 2010.

Let's just hope that it does not change any more! I am excited for this film, and one more month won't kill me so long as they are making it BETTER!
