For me, this particularly scene is very interesting because shows that Tyler was not interested in vengeance or something alike against Sgt Craig, and he seems to have accepted the silly game of Aidan to satisfied his friend or to use as an excuse for himself to getting closer to Ally. Rob did a wonderful work with Tate in this scene and in the sequence when he approaches to Ally and introducing himself to her. It is delightful the way they look at each other, and the dialogue is very nice.

I love how Rob draws out the word "things" in this line. I really respect him as an actor and I think he's making great choices, I can't wait to see what's next from him!

I agree with you LTavares, I think he never had vengeance in his mind and he's only following Tate's lead as a sort of game and also to get closer to Ally - boys will be boys, after all. The whole ensuing scene and dialogue are absolutely delightful, maybe one of the happiest in the film (what girl would resist him when he fumbles like that with ridiculous excuses and invents this fantastic sociological survey story and pokes fun at Aidan? Not to mention his blue eyes !). I also love the way he draws out the word "thiiiiiings" in this opening scene, it sounds so genuine and real!

Not to mention the little smirk, that thing Rob always does with his mouth, at the end, after he says, "everything". Got me with the smirk. Again.

jessegirl, I know what you're saying about the smirk. Gets me every time. About Aidan, I thought he was hilarious. I know so many guys that age who act just like him, and I am annoyed by every single of them, but him, I actually found amusing. I would love to see more of Tate Ellington in the future, he's great!
