I know it sounds absolutely childish and shallow, but, if it were available, I would want Tyler's journal. Yeah, the journal.

I agree, definitely would like to have the journal...would love to see what was actually written in there.

The journal... good point, I wonder if they actually wrote anything realistic in that journal? But I wouldn't want it, it's too sad a symbol... I think I would want the giant panda and the two drawings of Tyler smoking his cigarettes, the one with gulls and the one where he's sitting on the bench. And there's one other thing I absoutely want, it's a kind of rectangular wooden decorative sign in Tyler's flat, it's yellow with red and black letters and it says something like "unruly and boisterous behavior shall be kept to a minimum". I do so want it! :)

Rum...You can have all that other stuff.
Anonymous, heidi...first dibs. The journal is the big symbol, and, yeah, what is actually written in it..."This is the line I have to remember next"?...

A few of us had talked earlier about wouldn't it have been a great piece of merchandise to have the script bound in journal form.

I wonder where it is now.

If I were Rob, I'd want that journal myself, a souvenir of the film. You know, like the Lord of the Rings stars wanted emblematic items to keep.
Of course, it probably had Rob's grocery list, or, like I said, his lines, on it. It would be so cool if all of Tyler's real thoughts were actually there, in that movie prop, like the Dead Sea Scrolls, a meaningful thing. Sigh...

Maybe we will know what was actually in the jounal when the DVD is released, maybe they will comment on it, give us some clue... what with the Blu-Ray HD and stuff like this, which makes it possible to see and read things you couldn't see befire with lower definitions formats, maybe they even were careful enough to write something realistic in the diary... just in case some "nuts" like us thought of checking it out... who knows ?;))
